“Can you write about a freight transportation service in such a way that clients choose us instead of our competitors?” This was the very question that an American company specializing in moving cargo approached us with.
“Of course, yes!” – DriveFoxCopy’s copywriters answered without hesitation and received a new order, which later transformed into a long-term collaboration. But let’s not get ahead of ourselves. To cover all the details, we will tell the story step by step. How did the cooperation with Shark Moving begin? How did we achieve the set goal, and did we handle all the tasks? Read on.
Shark Moving: Fast, Reliable, Uncompromising
Shark Moving is a company that provides comprehensive services during a move because it understands that, for an ordinary person, this is a real challenge.
So what do they offer?
- Preparation for transportation. This includes packing belongings using high-quality materials. You also do not need to worry about the safety of fragile items. Here, no risks go unnoticed.
- Freight transportation during relocation. They are not intimidated by scale – movers can handle transporting items from a small apartment or a multi-story house. Their principle is: “I see the goal – I see no obstacles!”
- Commercial relocations. The Shark Moving team is also useful for office relocations or even entire company moves. They have everything necessary – vehicles, professional equipment, packing materials. All to ensure that your belongings are in reliable hands.
- Post-transportation services. Shark movers not only deliver items to the destination but also unload luggage, help carry it inside, unpack, and assemble if needed.
We must note that we really appreciate such a serious approach to work. Moreover, writing about truly high-quality services is simple and interesting. So, we got to work.
The morning doesn’t start with coffee… but with a landing page.
We did not randomly tell you about Shark Moving’s services in such detail. After all, for each of them, we created a separate landing page in due course. So, how did it all start?
In April 2023, we received a request to develop content from a new client. In connection with the need to cover a huge region of Florida, the client decided to implement a new promotion strategy:
1.Deep regional SEO
- It was decided to present locations (cities, districts) on the Shark Moving website as LSI-targeted pages for each region with unique content and microdata for local search.
- To cover all of Florida, there was a proposal to optimize pages for long-tail queries such as “moving to Miami Beach,” “office relocation Fort Lauderdale,” which would cover not only regions but also service formats.
2. Enterprise SEO strategy
- Large network companies in the moving industry often find it difficult to maintain indexing and quality of numerous local pages. Therefore, it was decided to strengthen core SEO through thematic queries regarding services and their provision in the blog.
3. Personalization and engagement
- Content on the website needed to be presented not in a template format, but as guides and checklists to increase client engagement and trust.
- Enhancing materials also needed to be implemented for frequently asked questions (FAQ) and problems clients face during a move.
4. Integration of a comprehensive content marketing strategy
- A modern content creation strategy required combining video, email newsletters, social media, and other channels. Such methods generate three times more leads than traditional marketing methods. As a result, a methodology for collecting leads, processing them, and promoting them within the client database was developed.
5. Increasing the efficiency of attracting exclusive leads
- In the moving industry, shared leads are often used, which reduces conversion and leads to price competition. It was decided to develop proprietary channels, especially in SEO and local presence formats. The founders, together with the marketing department, highlighted the format of guest posting.
As a result of studying problems, tasks, and forming a clear strategy, our team took on the first technical assignment to create a landing page. The challenge was to fit a lot into a small text:
- company description;
- list of available services;
- advantages of choosing this particular carrier;
- stages of cooperation.
And all of this in three and a half thousand characters! And do you know what? We succeeded! Moreover, without any complaints from the client. Our landing page was accepted – now it can be found on the company’s website (along with many other materials, but more on that later).
A Good Start – The Key to Success. Or How Further Work on the Project Was Promoted
Next, the usual workdays began. However, they cannot be called gray and monotonous – Shark Moving did not let us get bored. In the same month, we wrote eight more landing pages, the goal of which was to sell the company’s services to as wide a circle of local consumers as possible.
It should be noted that the technical tasks from this client had a certain peculiarity. They were veeeery detailed, and the requirements were quite strict. Here is what was expected of us:
- Strictly adhere to the assigned volume, without compromising the quality of the texts.
- Include in the article all specified keywords, and in the required quantity. Not a step to the left, not a step to the right, as they say.
- Maintain the provided structure of the material, without changing the headings.
- Create unique text – this had to be confirmed by results from a specialized verification service.
And do not forget that the client company works for an audience in the United States. This means that all content was created in perfect American English.
At the end of the first month of cooperation, we were satisfied. Nine landing pages and positive feedback from the client – what more could you want? Even more tasks! In May alone, we received 18 technical assignments for writing landing pages, and then even more followed: blog articles, service descriptions – all of this content had to be optimized for search engines according to geo-queries and service formats for transportation. That is, with integrated keywords, properly set meta tags, and headings of different levels.
Shark Moving and DriveFoxCopy: A Worthy Tandem for Great Results
The work of our copywriters on content for the Shark Moving website lasted slightly more than a year – to be exact, 14 months. What did we manage to do during this time?
- Create 35 landing pages for the main website page and service pages.
- Write 12 optimized blog articles.
And also – gain a deep understanding of the freight transportation topic, which, by the way, will be useful to us during work on another project. But we will write about that in another case study. Now let’s move on to the client’s results.
So what do we have?
- A position in the top of Google’s organic search results.
- Positive consumer feedback – because our texts are truthful, Shark Moving has no disappointed clients.
Now our cooperation with this client is on pause. Exactly – on pause, not finished, because we are hoping for new interesting, creative tasks from Shark Moving when they decide to expand the network in other states!
